What is not to love about a neat garden?
We love the contrasting shapes and pops of colour in this one. We kept the layout and choice of plants for this property low maintenance with clean lines; aloes and easy to care for Sansevieria trifasciata (commonly known as mother-in-law's tongue). The contrast in the choice of plants, the combination of bright and darker stripes in the leaves, and the prickly thorns next to rounder, pink flowers all adds to interest in this modern, minimalistic and waterwise layout.
Tip for you at home:
For those scared of getting houseplants, worried you will not be able to care for a plant, or that you do not have the perfect spot to put it - get a mother-inlaw's tongue. Not only are they very on trend as a decor item, they are nearly indestructible and thrive in anything from bright light, to dark corners. They are definitely great for boosting your confidence and a step towards your green fingers.
