Before and after pool loungers

Neutral pool loungers and outdoor daybed.

We did a revamp of this lovely pergola from forgotten corner to sanctuary. Our aim was to create an oasis of peace and cool calm. By keeping things neutral we created a space that feels tidy and calm, and above all is comfortable.

Our choice of colour for the daybeds where off whites and neutrals.

Scroll to see some inspiration for our colour palette (some pics from @pinterest). We know you will agree that white and naturals are far from boring. Not only is the space inspired by all things beach and nature, but if the owners ever decide to spruce it with colour, it will be simple to do with throw pillows, throw blankets and baskets to stow them. Quality fabric is always a must and we love the clean look we achieved.

It now is truly a space you can relax in and enjoy every day.

About darker pools:

Everybody loves a pool or sitting next to water, watching the days go by. This spot is no different; it is loved. With a deck on the waters’ edge to the left and shade to keep you cool, you will be forgiven if you never go into the house. Laze around or bring the laptop too.

Darker shade pools are not only right on trend, but they also tend to be a little warmer than lighter pools. We give this one a big thumbs up for all the boxes it is ticking:

• Modern

• Slightly warmer

• Deck space right alongside

• Beautiful views
